Basicstand III - how much more descriptive can a name be? The Basicstand is just that, a straightforward device designed to help support you securely in a standing posture. Basicstand III has no lift mechanism so you need enough function to either pull yourself up to standing or have someone help lift you into position. The beauty of Basicstand is the ability to start with a simple standing system and then upgrade it as your needs change.
Basicstand III is ideal for people who have had a stroke or CVA and just need extra support to stand safely. It is also ideal for people who are in the early stages of a disease process like Muscular Dystrophy or Multiple Sclerosis and allows you to buy the components you need to increase function and support. It is easy to upgrade to full Granstand III with a simple kit.
